Health Education for Professionals

We implement "train the trainer" method; in which local healthcare professionals and educators are taught how to teach others what they have learned from NURSING BRIDGES health programs. The outcome is outstanding in that it has resulted in the creation of many better-trained healthcare workers, volunteers and other professionals in their areas of operations.

Nursing Bridges collaborates with renowned healthcare institutions who demonstrate expertise in various health and medical disciplines. This provides us with the advantage of gaining access to valuable resources which enables us to coordinate and implement many aspects of our multi-faceted programs.Our programs involves the training of rural health promoters, the media, teachers, nurses, doctors and community leaders in areas of primary healthcare, reproductive health, women's health and children's health. We also teach life saving skills such as American Heart Association First Aid, CPR and ACLS.

Nursing Bridges advocate the establishment of continuing education requirement for healthcare professionals such as medical doctors, nurses and other allied healthcare professionals to ensure ongoing competency and expertise.
